Bill Popp And The Tapes: Keeping The Music Alive

Bill Popp And The Tapes’ annual birthday tribute to Daddy Tapes (aka George L. Popp) will be held on March 5 at the R Bar in Manhattan. The event, which is in its 28th year, honors George Popp, who dedicated his life to music and supporting his son’s dream. Snake Monsters and Lenny Kaye will also be performing at the March 5 concert. All proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to the American Heart Association in honor of the late Mr. Popp. You can also see Bill Popp And The Tapes at the Stone Tavern in Queens on March 22 and at Otto’s Shrunken Head in NYC on April 6.
