Smith Westerns: Forward Progress

Dreamy indie band Smith Westerns are back to touring, this time in support of their third full-length, Soft Will, released on June 25. They returned to the studio weary from extensive touring, and the new album is a representation of the trampled state they found themselves in upon returning home to Chicago. The album has plenty of progressive influence, with instrumental passages reminiscent of ‘70s-era super hits like The Dark Side Of The Moon. See them play the Music Hall Of Williamsburg on July 24 and Union Transfer on July 26.
