Since releasing their sophomore album, Boyfriends, Girlfriends, in 2011, the Pittsburgh-based pop trio Donora have continued in their efforts to make a name for themselves. This past January, Donora released a new EP, Play Nice, and this February, they will be celebrating the occasion with two local performances. The band first gained attention when they had their music featured in a few MTV reality series. Interestingly enough, while the group is stationed in Pittsburgh, their name was actually inspired by another Pennsylvania city—Donora. See them at Philadelphia’s Kung Fu Necktie on Feb. 14, and NYC’s Pianos on Feb. 15.
