Author Holly Metz will be holding a book signing, reading and Q&A session for her latest book, Killing The Poormaster: A Saga Of Poverty, Corruption, And Murder In The Great Depression. The novel, which highlights the troubles during 1938, takes a look at a forgotten piece of history. Metz will hold the session at the Jersey City Public Library, 472 Jersey Ave., Jersey City, NJ, on Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. The room in which the event will be held is listed as the 3rd Floor NJ Room, but this is subject to change, so check with the library upon arrival. The timeless issues that are highlighted in Metz’s novel can still be felt today. The event is free and open to all.
