Tim Barry: Changing Gears

Tim Barry, singer/songwriter from Richmond, VA, ended his 2010 album, 28th & Stonewall, on a morbid note—discussing his own death and what little regrets he will have after leaving. His attitude has changed however, as his fifth full-length, 40 Miler, hit shelves on April 10 with a more upbeat and optimistic outlook on life. Barry heads to Asbury Park for 40 Miler’s record release show at Asbury Lanes on April 13. Along with Barry, the Lanes will host Josh Small and Julie Karr. Tickets are $10, doors at 8 p.m.
