David Jacobs-Strain will be taking up a residency at Rockwood Music Hall in lower Manhattan from April 4-25, performing Wednesday nights at the venue. The talented up-and-comer redefines the typical stigma associated with blues music by adding a coy and playful twist to his twangy guitars and tender vocals, providing listeners with a healthy blend of folk infused soulful rock. Doors will open up at 6 p.m. for the free weeknight shows with Jacobs-Strain performing on stage one around 8 p.m. As per the venue’s policy, the shows are 21+.
