Gotye: The Well Rewarded

Australian-Belgian multi-instrumentalist Wouter Debacker is more widely known as Gotye. The singer-songwriter has dabbled in the genres of indie and experimental rock and become extremely successful. Gotye has independently released three studio albums, won five ARIA awards, and was nominated for an MTV EMA for the Best Asia and Pacific Act. Debacker is also a part of indie- pop band The Basics. He will be having a show at Bowery Ballroom, in New York, on Feb. 6. Doors open at 8 p.m.; tickets are $30.
