We’ve lived long enough now to see the forming of a genre called “classic metal,” and reformed Los Angeles outfit Armored Saint fit that bill as much as anyone could. Their 2010 album, La Raza, was their first in the decade since frontman John Bush left the band to join Anthrax, and marked a formidable return for one of metal’s most underrated bands. They’ll be on the East Coast for three shows this week, starting Nov. 30 at Ollie’s Point Bar in Amityville, NY, and also hitting Crocodile Rock in Allentown, PA, on Dec. 2 and The Studio At Webster Hall in NYC on Dec. 3.
