A band that was originally created to spite a romantic rival has quickly spiraled into a successful group with over 70 original songs. The indie-rock phenomenon, Bear Hands, will be performing at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park on Oct. 7 and at Maxwell’s in Hoboken on Oct. 8. Bear Hands has been gaining recognition since the release of their debut LP, Burning Bush Supper Club, last fall. With a hit dance single and an addictive indie pop vibe, the band’s performance will wow post-punk and indie fans alike. Tickets are $10, Doors open at 8 p.m.
