As their Instagram bio reiterates: yes, they are, in fact, still a band. Even better than that? They’re still selling out rooms like the Bowery Ballroom, which our illustrious photographer was able to experience live and in person on January 13. The rock band have never lost their slick indie sound, even as indie turned into alternative and the nineties became what we know them as today. Still, the best news of all is not that their NYC performance last week was a hit and gave way to the amazing shots below; the best news is that their first album in six years (and 10th overall since they formed almost 40 years ago) is on its way. Jump Rope is set for a late spring release, so get ready.
So, yes, Buffalo Tom is still a band and still high up on our radar of rocking acts to key an eye on.
