Refused: In All Their Glory

As March was drawing to a close, we were knee deep in the boisterous punk world of Refused. On the 21st, the legendary group took to the Brooklyn Paramount to showcase their hardcore tendencies, their often flamboyant stage presence, and overarching creativity as a rock unit. They have influenced artists and bands for decades – pre-and-post break up – and by putting on shows like this one, their influential abilities remain strong.

Vibrant lights, silky outfits, raucous energy, and a career-spanning setlist, it was a perfect show for NYC as winter ended and spring began, as a month began to wrap and a new month was to kick off soon… and we’d do it all over again tonight if we could.
