Somehow (Please, don’t ask us how.) every Counting Crows record, and subsequent tour, marks the band’s best era to date. Thankfully we’ve been around to experience it all.
Photographer Ehud Lazin is a force to be reckoned with. He is mindful of lighting, dimension, and style as he seemingly effortlessly captures moments in musical time. Like our friend and contributor Lazin, Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz pays close attention to the world around him and the art that falls in line with such (including his own). He paints vivid roots rock pictures which translates beautifully on stage with a full, just as lively band. At The Cap earlier this month – August 2 and 3, to be exact – there was a fluid, cohesive, and inspiring blend of talents – as depicted in the below galley.
