Spotlights: Reality Suite & Mental Health Benefit

Help Make Reality Suite’s Next EP A Reality

New Jersey indie rock group Reality Suite wants to bring their new EP to life, and with our help, they can. From booking their own tours to writing their own songs, the band has always been completely DIY — something that not only proves their dedication, but also makes them even more unique. Their PledgeMusic campaign allows fans and followers to pledge for things such as a signed drum head, a Skype call with a band, or even a full band house concert. They are almost three quarters into their fundraising goal, but only have until Jan. 10 to garner the rest. To help the group create this EP, grow as a band, and bring their music to their genuine fans, visit pledgemusic.com/projects/realitysuite.

Mental Health Benefit at Roxy and Duke’s

Not only are they known for being one of the best up and coming New Jersey bands, but Will Wood and the Tapeworms are known for their blending of styles of music to create a scene more than just a song. Alternative, cabaret, punk, and more, Will Wood takes music and theatrics to a level that makes it more than necessary to see them live. On Feb. 3, the five piece band is having an electric live album release show at Roxy and Duke’s where half of the profits from the event go to the major mental health charity the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
