The 31st annual Daddy Tapes Benefit for the American Heart Association goes down Sunday, March 12, at the Parkside Lounge on East Houston Street in Manhattan. Famed New York City rocker Bill Popp has been a staple to the scene since the ’70s, and he hosts this yearly event as a tribute to his late father, George (aka Daddy Tapes). This year’s show kicks off at 6:30 p.m., and will feature performances by Belle-Skinner, Amy Allison, Anne Husick, the Phil Gammage Quartet, Sea Monster, the Alan Merrill Trio, Bill Popp & The Tapes, and more.
