Dan Andriano, formerly of Alkaline Trio, is back with a solo project that he calls Dan Andriano In The Emergency Room. Andriano has said that his new sound is influenced by his love of Elvis Costello, Paul Westerberg, and The Cure. He began the “Emergency Room” project a few years ago when he was living in Florida and wanted to create music that would be separate from his work with the Alkaline Trio. Dan released his sophomore solo album, Party Adjacent, in 2015 on Asian Man Records. Andriano will be headlining several shows in the area with Derek Grant, also of the Alkaline Trio, opening for him. They will be performing on Oct. 27 at Monty Hall in Jersey City, NJ, Oct. 28 at Brooklyn Bazaar in Brooklyn, and Oct. 29 at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia.
