One band is not enough for some musicians. Dream Theater’s John Myung, Winger’s Rod Morgenstein, and King’s X’s Ty Tabor form The Jelly Jam. The trio released a new album, Profit, on May 27 via Music Theories Recordings/Mascot Label Group. The core character of the album is The Prophet (get it?) as the individual tries to become the hero that saves humanity. The progressive trio will make stops at Havana in New Hope, PA July 23, B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York, NY July 26, The Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY July 30, The Newton Theatre in Newton, NJ Aug. 5 and Revolution Bar and Music Hall in Amityville, NY Aug. 12.
