Hard rock and hair metal fans from across the country will flock to Columbia, Maryland, once again for the eighth year in a row for the M3 Rock Festival. The Merriweather Post Pavilion will host the festival from Friday, April 29th thru Saturday, April 30th. With two stages and no overlapping set times, M3 offers a weekend nonstop ’80s-style party.
M3 has had a consistently strong line-up of hard rock and hair metal heavyweights for the past seven years, and this year is no exception. Vince Neil and Kix will headline Friday’s line-up, while Tesla and Queensryche wrap up Saturday’s festivities.
Considering most of the festivals hosting this genre of music are found in Europe, and have been since its heyday, M3 is pretty much right in our own backyard. So save yourself a trip overseas, jump in the car for a decade-of-decadence style road-trip, and relive your youth and the music that defined it.
2-Day Passes are still available for $60. Doors are at 3:30pm, and show starts at 4:00pm on Friday, April 29th. Visit www.merriweathermusic.com for more info, and to purchase tickets.
