Bag Raiders: Two Shooting Stars

Emerging from Sydney, Australia, a duo came together to create the unique sounds that make up Bag Raider. The electronic, synthpop band formed just about 10 years ago, when Jack Glass and Chris Stracey originally assembled to mix 1970s rock music with hip-hop. From there, they began releasing EPs and singles that soon got them the recognition they deserve on the ARIA Singles Chart. Their latest release was a trio of singles just a few months ago that can be described as lively, uplifting, and hypnotic. Bag Raiders’ performances are just as spellbinding as their music and you can catch them at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia on March 10 and at the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan on March 12.
