Blue Oyster Cult is back! Well, actually, not quite. They never exactly went away. Impressively, the classic rock five-piece has been performing consistently for over 40 years now. They’re currently touring in support of the 40th anniversary of their most famous and iconic song, “Don’t Fear The Reaper,” which still gets prominent radio airplay to this day and was further immortalized by Saturday Night Live with the infamous “More Cowbell” sketch. Additionally, their songs “Burnin’ For You” and “Godzilla” are classics in their own right. Blue Oyster Cult is currently made up of the core songwriting team of Donald Roeser and Eric Bloom and is rounded out by Richie Castellano, Kasim Sulton, and Jules Radino. They’ll be performing at the NYCB Theatre At Westbury on Feb. 6 and the B.B. King Blues Club on Feb. 13, April 7 and June 17.
