We always get upset when our favorite bands take a big chunk of time off from touring to write new music because we end up missing them. Lucky for us, Rubblebucket will be taking a small break from their current writing process, which is taking place in Brooklyn where the band originates from, to perform at a handful of shows. Their last album, Survival Sound, came out in January 2014 and had a pop and indie vibe to it that created immediate anticipation for their next release. In September of this year, Rubblebucket put out a free single, “Donna,” that portrayed growth in the group’s sound. Rubblebucket will play at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn on Jan. 8 and Jan. 9.
