Originating from Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Sydney, Australia, A Sunny Day In Glasgow have been around for 10 years now. The six-piece, including the only original member Ben Daniels, released a double EP on Dec. 1. Planning Weed Like It’s Acid/Life Is Loss is a creatively trippy combination of nine songs that takes the listener on a hypnotic journey. The recently released video for their song “Hey, You’re Mine,” which was directed by band member Jen Goma, takes you through the average day of a small wrestling promotions company in NJ, and has gained a great deal of attention from the group’s supporters. A Sunny Day In Glasgow will be playing shows in support of the EP at Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia on Dec. 31 and at Rough Trade in Manhattan on Jan. 2.
