Rising from Minneapolis, MN in 1997 came forth alternative rock band Motion City Soundtrack. This five-piece group consists of the band’s founding members, Justin Pierre (lead vocals, guitar) and Joshua Cain (lead guitar, back vocals); accompanying them are Jesse Johnson (keyboardist), Matthew Taylor (bassist, back vocals) and Claudio Rivera (percussion). The quintet has released six studio albums, with Panic Stations being their latest. It was produced by John Agnello and released on Sept. 18 via Epitaph Records. This album is fresh and electronic in sound while maintaining a pure vocal track. Motion City Soundtrack will be performing at Webster Hall in NYC on Oct. 17 and 18. They will also perform on Nov. 25 in Philly at Electric Factory and Nov. 27 at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.
