Mad Decent Block Party: Block Bash In Brooklyn

Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Party, only eight years old, has come a long way from its origins in a tent between Philly’s 12th and Spring Garden Street. The festival is now en route to Coney Island’s MCU Park from Aug. 8-9. The acts have also gotten bigger and better in recent years: major electronic artists like Odesza, Skrillex, Major Lazer, Destructo, and Porter Robinson will grace this year’s lineup, not to mention Mad Decent’s own creator. For those more inclined to pop, acts like Sydney native Alison Wonderland have also been added, as have hip-hop artists Tyler The Creator and T-Pain.
