Lord Dying, a hardcore/metal band from Portland, Oregon, began its international tour in May, prepared to pummel its fans into a head-banging fog. The group’s base-flooded riffs balance the dark vocals, the perfect combination for a late summer night out for eclectic music fiends. The metal rockers, first formed in 2010, have released their second album, Poisoned Altars, this past January, and will pull into the Voltage Lounge in Philadelphia on June 28 and the St. Vitus Bar in Brooklyn on June 29.
