Singer-songwriter William Fitzsimmons is currently based out of Jacksonville, Illinois, but his heart remains in his hometown where he grew up of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You may know him by his best-known works “Passion Play” and “Please Don’t Go.” Fitzsimmons will be releasing a seven-song mini-album titled Pittsburgh reminiscing on his memories of growing up in the city. After the passing of his grandmother in 2014, he created the album as an ode to her as well as the place they shared their time together in. You can catch him headlining World Café Live in Philadelphia on May 23 and City Winery in NYC on May 24.
