What originally started as a high school garage band from Princeton, NJ, Blues Traveler has come a long way in the past 20 years. This jam band is known for their diverse styles of music including blues, folk rock and soul. They first rose to mainstream fame with their hit songs “Hook” and “Run-Around,” which won a Grammy. Their newest album, Blow Up The Moon, features collaborations with a variety of artists such as Dirty Heads & Rome Ramirez of Sublime, Plain White T’s and Hanson. Blues Traveler will be performing at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in NJ on May 17.
