Seasons arrive and leave but some things will always remain the same, like late ‘60s hallucinatory band The Blues Magoos. And although they may not have all the original members, they still have the one concrete purpose—to keep the music alive. They’re back with over 40 years behind them and a recently released album, Psychedelic Resurrection. You can’t look into the history of psychedelic music without finding them as one of the pioneers. You can see them perform their well-known classic “We Ain’t Got Nothin’ Yet” amongst others at The Brighton Bar on April 17 in Long Branch. They will also be at The Bowery Electric on May 23.
