From covering songs in local New Jersey venues, to posting up pictures of his family members as flyers for gigs in Brooklyn, Rob Jennings has gone from hometown to downtown. He will be playing in Lower East Side on April 21 at Arlene’s Grocery. This performance is especially meaningful, for it is also a release party for his new EP, The Boulevard Gone. We can expect charming and sometimes upbeat guitar work paired with his soothing voice—with dashes of tambourine. His new release definitely shines light on Jennings’ own musical journey, much more ambitious than those covers he once played.
