Renowned American folk-rock guitarist and singer James McMurtry has been on the scene for decades. He’s not new to making records or performing live. In fact, he’s been touring long before we were able to even purchase new music digitally. For a musician to survive through the ages, he’s got to be doing something right. He’s back after six years with a new album, Complicated Game, and though things have changed, he’s not going down easy. He will be passing by New Jersey on his tour at Mexicali Live in Teaneck on April 17. You can also see him in NYC at Bowery Ballroom on April 18 and in Philadelphia at World Cafe Live (Downstairs) on April 22.
