The Fab Faux knows every single song The Beatles ever recorded, almost 300 of ‘em. To experience these songs performed live with the musicianship of these particular gentlemen, is to experience them anew. It’s not a clone band. They don’t don wigs and affect Brit accents. It’s akin to a symphony orchestra performing the works of Mozart. You wouldn’t call the symphony a tribute act, would you? It’s just that these songs, so ingrained in our DNA, come alive on a stage and no one, and I mean no one, performs them live like The Fab Faux. The Beatles certainly never did. State Theater. Easton, PA. March 14.
