Music is the power with which we create something beautiful. What happens when musicians take music a step further for use of the greater good? I think Bill Popp can tell you a thing or two about music philanthropy. For almost 30 years, Bill Popp has hosted an annual benefit in which keeps his father, George L. Popp’s (Daddy Tapes), memory after he was a victim to heart disease. The annual Daddy Tapes Benefit’s proceeds are donated to the American Heart Association. The event includes a handful of bands including Dennis Doyle, Supermajor, and his very own—Bill Popp And The Tapes. Embark on this rewarding journey March 11 at The Delancey in NYC.
