Band Aid co-organizer and singer-songwriter Midge Ure is doing an American tour in support of Fragile, his newest album. He’ll be hitting World Cafe Live in Philadelphia on Feb. 24 and Iridium in New York City on Feb. 26 and Feb. 27. Ure has been involved in the industry for more than 40 years, playing with bands like Thin Lizzy and Ultravox and working with Bob Geldof to create Band Aid, Live Aid, and Band Aid 30. His musical stylings range from rock to post-punk to synthpop, and at 61, he’s still able to play with the best of them.
