It’s hard to describe New York duo Buke And Gase, and the average person might not give them a second listen, but that’s where the genius of their music lies. The band uses several handmade instruments, such as the buke, a baritone six-string ukulele, and the gass, a guitar-bass hybrid. Their songs utilize uncommon time signatures, chord progressions, and other avant garde practices to gain a truly unique sound, which can be heard in “Seam Esteem,” their newest single. You can see them get experimental on their first headlining tour in over a year on Friday, Oct. 10, at Music Hall Of Williamsburg.
