Post-hardcore icons Hawthorne Heights, busying themselves with the fifth release in three years, have announced a series of dates for the fall, and will be playing locally on Long Island at Amityville’s Revolution Bar & Music on Sept. 11, at the Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ on Sept. 12, and at the North Star Bar in Philly on Sept. 13. The band’s latest album, Zero, was released last year. As one of the few bands in the genre with considerable recognition, Hawthorne Heights are known for defying genre standards and incorporating hardcore punk with emo and pop punk into their sound.
