Soundgarden, the Seattle-based rock group influential in alternative rock music, are touring nationally with Nine Inch Nails in support of their 20th anniversary re-issue of their groundbreaking album, Superunknown, that released remastered with a second CD full of demos and rarities on June 3. Vocalist Chris Cornell’s range remains intact, asserting his position as one of the great rock singers, and the band still thrashes with intensity and vigor like they did in their prime. Soundgarden will perform July 30 at Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, NJ, Aug. 1 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY, and Aug. 2 at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.
