The latest album from UK quartet, The Crookes, was recently released, and they are spending their summer on the road to support it. The indie rockers spent two months in Italy producing their third musical effort, Soapbox. The album promises maturity on a variety of levels, including musically and lyrically. Their single “Play Dumb” is a blunt declaration of independence from an unhealthy relationship. See the group for yourself at The Barbary in Philadelphia on July 8 and at The Studio At Webster Hall in NYC on July 9.
