An art-rock band that is nearly impossible to categorize due to their music’s combination of avant-garde, punk, Americana and other genres, Deleted Scenes formed in 2005. Their newest album, Lithium Burn, was released April 11. They also have two other records: 2009’s debut Birdseed Shirt and 2012’s Young People’s Church Of The Air. However, for their most recent release, the group teamed up with producers Brian McTear and Jon Low, who have worked with bands like The National and The War On Drugs. Deleted Scenes will be playing at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn on May 21.
