Kristin Hoffmann, a Renaissance-pop musician with a hauntingly ethereal voice, has been inspired by artists like Johann Sebastian Bach and Annie Lennox. These influences have helped her create an extraordinary mix of sounds. Her music has been featured in episodes of Dawson’s Creek, as well as in an immersive theater experience that was made conjointly with NASA, called “Bella Gaia.” A release party for her self-produced album, The Human Compass: New Directions, will take place at The Slipper Room in NYC on April 10.
