The Blue Project: With Flying Colors

Rising out of the ashes of Hurricane Sandy, guitarist Danny Petroni created The Blue Project in an attempt to breathe life back into the South Jersey music scene. Calling upon his musician friends, Petroni recruited vocalist/trombonist Frank Lacy, bassist Gene Boccia, and drummer Dave Halpern, among other talented locals, to create a self-titled, 10-track LP that pays tribute to country, blues, and jazz. The South Jersey-based band will be playing a show alongside Brody’s Monster at The Saint in Asbury Park on March 29.
