The traveling roadshow of Broadway’s Rock Of Ages hits the State Theatre in Easton, Pennsylvania, on March 23, with 28 songs of the era of big hair and power ballads. On Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, small-town girl meets big-city rocker in this romantic comedy that charmingly doesn’t take itself seriously (actors actually step out of character), while the music of Journey, Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Twisted Sister, Poison, Asia, Whitesnake and other bad bands are played live and in-your-face by a jaw-dropping crew who, in many cases, sound better than the originals.
