Dissatisfied with the success of playing prime-time television shows as well as touring with mainstream acts like Dave Matthews Band and Maroon 5, Oklahoma City-based singer-songwriter Graham Colton reconnects with his musical roots on his latest release, Lonely Ones. Under the collaborative guidance of Flaming Lips guitarist Wayne Coyne, Colton strays away from his traditional sound and leans more toward an innovative style that combines mesmerizing elements of indie folk with a melodic pop influence on singles like “Born To Raise Hell” and “Til The Night Runs Out.” In support of the new album, Colton will be playing at the Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan on Feb. 22.
