Throwback folk artist Doug Paisley is returning to the music scene with his third full-length studio album, Strong Feelings. Paisley began his solo career with his self-titled debut in 2008, and has released three EPs and two LPs in the time since. On his latest disc, the Toronto native is joined by friend Garth Hudson of The Band, who also appeared on 2010’s Constant Companion, as well as vocalist Mary Margaret O’Hara and acclaimed saxophonist Colin Stetson. Paisley brings his act to New York City on Jan. 22, the day after Strong Feelings is released, when he appears at Joe’s Pub.
