Formed in 1992 by The Pixies bassist Kim Deal and Throwing Muses guitarist Tanya Donnelly, The Breeders were originally a side-project. However, with their 1993 album, Last Splash, and their support of Nirvana on a European tour, they achieved considerable success. Unfortunately, they played their last show at Lollapalooza in 1994, and went on an indefinite hiatus. Now they are reunited and will be playing their famous Last Splash album around the world, including stops at Webster Hall in NYC on Dec. 19 and 20.
