World-class violinist and critically acclaimed queen of the strange, Emilie Autumn will be performing at Philly’s Theatre Of Living Arts on Nov. 24 and NYC’s Irving Plaza on Nov. 27 as part of her On The Flag tour. Autumn is the embodiment of alternative style, labeling her music as “Victoriandustrial” and drawing inspiration for her work from plays, novels and Victorian-era history. Her most recent album, Fight Like A Girl, is based off her novel, The Asylum For Wayward Victorian Girls, and combines her influence of glam rock, use of alternative effects and renowned skills as a violinist for a clean and creepy (in a good way) kind of sound.
