An entirely instrumental NYC-based rock band, Tauk formed in 2011. Their debut, Pull Factors, was successful and led them to impressive gigs opening for groups like The Allman Brothers, as well as at Bonnaroo and the Hangout Music Fest. Their sophomore album, Homunculus, was made with help from sound engineer Dave Natale, who worked with The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac. Because of this collaboration, the new record has a ‘60s rock feel. Tauk will be performing in Philadelphia at The Blockley on Oct. 31, as well as with Aqueous at The Knitting Factory in NYC on Nov. 2.
