Sparrows: Bold Ground

Up-and-coming Canadian post-hardcore outfit Sparrows have released their debut album, Cold Ground. The band intended each of the eight songs on the LP to be as audibly intense as a live performance, and they succeeded, adding loud electric guitars and banging drums to dark, ominous lyrics to produce an in-your-face sound. Sparrows will be playing Sept. 24 at Le Grande Fromage, Sept. 25 at the North Star Bar, Sept. 26 at The Meatlocker, and Sept. 27 at The Acheron.
