Pepper, a Hawaiian reggae rock band formed in 1997, have released their long-awaited sixth album. This eponymous record is the first since 2008’s Pink Crustaceans And Good Vibrations. In an effort to expand their sound, the new LP still has its reggae influence, yet sounds more mainstream rock than previous works by the band. Two singles, “F**k Around (All Night)” and “Hunny Girl,” exhibit the band’s party-hard attitude. Pepper will be performing with Grieves and RDGLDGRN Sept. 20 in Philadelphia at Theatre Of Living Arts and Sept. 21 at Webster Hall in New York City.
