We came back from our trip to the 2013 New Music Seminar with a plethora of albums from artists wanting a chance to be heard and reviewed. One standout was NYC’s own Bury Me A Lion. Their 2012 release, Year Of The Lion, beautifully combines melodic guitar riffs with an upbeat, punchy sound that strings the album along smoothly and makes it an easy listen. The album and recent single “Body Works” are both available on iTunes and Bandcamp.
Expect a lot from Bury Me A Lion in the future. Between new music and plenty of shows, make sure you don’t miss out on what Bury Me A Lion have in store for 2014. They are performing on Sept. 14 at the Modern Problems Radio Festival with Pete Francis of Dispatch at Acoustic Café in Bridgeport, CT.
