Boston’s The Grownup Noise are set to take the stage at Union Hall in Brooklyn on Aug. 16 after a long string of summer shows in California. With their self-titled debut in 2007 and the 2011 LP, This Time With Feeling, The Grownup Noise have consistently given their best with sophisticated songwriting and composition. The indie group presents a familiar taste in gentle chord progressions, wide use of instruments, and delicate softcore tunes that lean closely into the category of pop music, but in no way strays far from the idealistic sounds the band has always pursued for their music.
