Composed of Ryan Spencer and Adam Pressley, the Detroit duo Jamaican Queens are currently on tour in support of their debut, Wormfood. The two artists were formerly in the band Prussia and recorded their album last winter with Christopher Lazlo Koltay of Dirtbombs. The two encompass an experimental pop sound with an influence of Southern rap beats. After being on tour for the first half of 2013, Jamaican Queens are making their way to the East Coast, stopping by 285 Kent on July 18, PhilaMOCA on July 19 and the Bushwick Block Party in Brooklyn on July 27.
